Brendon Klippel

Brendan is a Violinist/Violist and Educator in the Adirondack region. He began studying Classical Viola at age 10. He participated in many prestigious festivals and music programs in his youth including NYSSSA’s School of Orchestral Studies and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. Brendan also spent a year at Interlochen Arts Academy, where he learned from David Holland. 

      Brendan attended Berklee College of Music, where he studied Classical, Jazz, Rock, Microtonal, and various other genres of music. During this time he worked with many notable musicians such as Dr. David Wallace, Darol Anger, and Simon Shaheen. 

      Today Brendan is a performing musician specializing in improvisation and contemporary styles, as well as an instructor at the SMSA Arts Academy. He has performed with many groups throughout the Adirondack region including the Saratoga Strings Band, Brain Medicine, the Greene Brothers, and the Sam Luke Trio(of which he is a regular member).

Current Projects
